Representative cases
  • Represented the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources in a state-owned construction land use rights transfer dispute adjudicated by the Supreme People's Court (SPC), with the disputed amount reaching RMB¥ 200,000,000.
  • In 2018, represented a private enterprise in an administrative dispute concerning invalidation of trademark rights before the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board (TRAB,) of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), securing full victory at the Beijing High People's Court. The case involved crucial legal issues regarding trademark invalidation determinations. Despite unfavorable circumstances where the SPC had remanded the case to the Beijing High People's Court for retrial due to erroneous application of law in the original judgment, we successfully represented the client throughout the retrial proceedings and ultimately achieved affirmation of the retrial decision.
  • Assisted in handling an administrative litigation dispute arising from idle land recovery between a subsidiary of a listed company and a Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning.
  • Represented a local government in a highway concession agreement dispute with a mainland project company established by a Hong Kong company, with the disputed amount exceeding RMB¥ 4.5 billion. Following our representation and defense, the opposing party withdrew the lawsuit.
  • Represented a Taiwan-funded enterprise in a dispute with Yangzhou Municipal Government concerning land development and government subsidies under an investment framework agreement, with the disputed amount exceeding US$ 110 million. The case was resolved through a settlement satisfactory to our client.
  • In 2021, represented a Chinese local government in a retrial case before the SPC(Supreme People's Court) arising from a demolition and resettlement agreement. With disputed facts spanning over 20 years and undergoing multiple trials across three court levels, our team meticulously examined all case materials, conducted field investigations, and presented the facts to the court in a clear and compelling manner. We ultimately secured a complete victory with the SPC rejecting the retrial application, involving a disputed amount of RMB¥ 350 million.
