In the realm of sports, an athlete's career is fraught with uncertainty and challenges, where every turning point may alter the trajectory of their destiny. Among the numerous high-profile disputes handled by our firm, Hui Zhong represented a Chinese world swimming champion in an arbitration case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland. This case involved allegations of doping violations by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), demonstrating our exceptional capabilities in sports arbitration.
Working alongside Swiss counsel, we successfully set aside the adverse CAS award before the Swiss Federal Supreme Court. In the subsequent de novo arbitration, we secured a newly constituted panel and a revised decision reducing the original eight-year ineligibility period to four years and three months—effectively halving the ban period.
