The firm submitted its Comments on the Draft Amendment to the Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China (Exposure Draft 2021), and successively filed commentaries on the Draft Amendment to the Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China (2024 Exposure Draft) and the 2025 Second Deliberation Draft, in particular the stand-alone chapter on “Special Provisions on Foreign-Related Arbitration”, to the Ministry of Justice and the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. The firm also provided comments on the Draft Commercial Mediation Regulations of the People’s Republic of China (Public Consultation Draft) to the Ministry of Justice, and proposed amendments to the Shanghai Pilot Measures for the Promotion of Ad Hoc Arbitration in Foreign-Related Maritime and Commercial Matters (Trial) (Consultation Draft), evidencing Hui Zhong’s strong research capacity and social responsibility.
