汇仲律师事务所(“汇仲”）诚挚欢迎争议解决律师钟莉女士加盟汇仲，担任权益合伙人。自2020年10月起，钟莉律师在汇仲北京办公室履新。

 

钟律师2007年毕业于外交学院，获法学学士学位；2012-2013年在纽约大学法学院国际商事规范、诉讼和仲裁项目学习，获法学硕士学位。加入汇仲之前钟律师是美国德杰律师事务所合伙人，在北京办公室工作。钟律师也曾在德杰新加坡和巴黎办公室有短期工作经验。

 

钟律师在国际仲裁和争议解决领域拥有逾十二年的工作经验。她是数家中国仲裁机构的仲裁员、哈佛大学法学院的兼职研究员以及国际商会ICC 青年仲裁员论坛北亚区代表。

 

钟律师处理了几十起在国际商会仲裁院（ICC）、伦敦国际仲裁院(LCIA)、香港国际仲裁中心(HKIAC)、新加坡国际仲裁中心(SIAC)、中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会、北京仲裁委员会、上海国际仲裁中心、深圳国际仲裁院等仲裁机构进行的国际商事仲裁案件以及适用UNCITRAL仲裁规则进行的域外临时仲裁。在德杰巴黎办公室工作期间，她参与了两起在国际投资争端解决中心进行的国际投资仲裁案件。

 

钟律师经常向外国客户就中国法相关问题尤其是在中国法院执行外国仲裁裁决（尤其是国际商会仲裁院和香港国际仲裁中心的裁决）等事项提供分析和建议，她也长期为中国国有企业在海外投资和海外纠纷解决相关事项提供法律建议，在此方面拥有丰富经验。

 

钟律师经常在国内外举办的涉及国际仲裁的研讨会和会议上发表演讲，就中国法、国内仲裁和国际仲裁方面撰写了多篇文章，并在清华大学法学院国际仲裁与争议解决项目授课。

 

钟律师因其在中国争议解决领域的出色表现，于2017-2019连续三年被《亚太法律500 强》评为“新一代律师”。

 

钟律师具有中国和美国纽约州的律师执业资格。她的工作语言为普通话（母语）和英语。

Ms. Mariana Zhong 

joins Hui Zhong Law Firm

 

Hui Zhong Law Firm ("Hui Zhong") sincerely welcomes the dispute resolution lawyer Ms. Mariana Zhong to join Hui Zhong as an equity partner. Since October 2020, Ms. Zhong will be working in the Beijing office of Hui Zhong.

 

Ms. Zhong graduated from China Foreign Affairs University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Law degree. In 2012-2013, Ms. Zhong studied at the International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration Program of New York University School of Law, obtaining the Master of Law degree. Prior to joining Hui Zhong, Ms. Zhong has been a National Partner of the International Arbitration Department of Dechert LLP, based in Beijing.

Ms. Zhong has over twelve years’ experience working on international arbitration and dispute resolution matters. She is an arbitrator, an affiliate research fellow of Harvard Law School and an ICC YAF Representative for North Asia.

Ms. Zhong has worked on several dozens of international commercial arbitration cases before institutions including ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, BAC, SHIAC, SCIA and ad hoc tribunals seated abroad applying UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. She also participated in two ICSID international investment arbitration cases and advised some Chinese investor clients on potential investment arbitration.  

Ms. Zhong frequently advises foreign clients on Chinese law-related matters, including enforcing foreign arbitral awards (in particular, ICC and HKIAC awards) in Chinese courts. She also has plenty of experience advising Chinese State-owned enterprises on their investment and dispute matters abroad.

Ms. Zhong is a frequent speaker at international arbitration-related seminars and conferences held at home and abroad, and a diligent writer on topics relating to Chinese law, Chinese and international arbitration. She also lectures at Tsinghua University IADS program. 

Ms. Zhong was recognized and listed as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for three consecutive years (2017-2019) for her outstanding work in dispute resolution in China. 

Ms. Zhong was admitted to the China Bar and the Bar of the New York State in USA. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese (native) and English. 

The joining of Ms. Zhong will further enhance Hui Zhong’s strength in the fields of international commercial arbitration, investor-State arbitration and etc. With Ms. Zhong's rich experience accumulated from working at a renowned international law firm, sound professional skills crystallized by representing clients before numerous international arbitration institutions and ad hoc tribunals, and highly praised ability demonstrated in arbitration training and research work, Hui Zhong will be able to provide clients with more thorough, professional and solution-oriented legal services.
