Mr. Kan obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southwest University of Political Science and Law. With years of in-depth experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution, he specializes in major and complex civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases, covering practice areas such as construction engineering and real estate, financial asset management, financing trade, corporate and security, etc.

Mr. Kan has represented nearly 100 civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases before the Supreme People's Court, people's courts at all levels and arbitration institutions. In particular, he has handled a number of difficult appeal and retrial cases of typical significance at the Supreme People's Court and higher people's courts of various provinces, and ultimately safeguarded clients' rights and interests through second instance reversals and retrial acceptances. Successfully persuaded the Supreme People's Court to pierce the corporate veil and find the transaction as “illegal lending by the asset management company with the contract being invalid and interest calculated at the one-year LPR” in the retrial procedure, and obtained a favorable judgment exempting the Chongqing real estate group from over RMB 400 million of high interest.
