Ms. Meng's main practice areas include commercial dispute litigation and arbitration. Ms. Meng has extensive experience in insurance, finance, real estate, energy construction and other civil and commercial disputes, and specializes in dealing with disputes at the intersection of civil and commercial litigation and administrative litigation, such as administrative agreements.
Ms. Meng has represented various types of complex and difficult civil and commercial disputes in the Supreme People’s Court, provincial High People’s Courts, and arbitration institutions, and has maintained a high success rate. Among her cases, there are several projects which values over 10 billion RMB. Some of the cases have been included by the Supreme People’s Court as bulletin cases and typical cases, which play a pioneering and exemplary role.
Ms. Meng has unique insights and teaching experience in the theory of civil and commercial practice, trial skills, and litigation visualization, and also serves as a researcher at the Case Teaching and Research Center of the Law School, Renmin University of China. She has been giving the continuous thematic sharing to local courts and procuratorates, provincial and municipal lawyer associations, large financial institutions, listed companies, conglomerates, which is well recognized and praised by clients and peers.
- Represented an insurance company in a series of insurance contract cases, involving nearly 20 funders nationwide, involving policy amounts of over 10 billion RMB. With the extensive social impact, the case is awarded the Outstanding Cases in 2021 by China Business Law Journal.
- Represented a Singaporean subsidiary of a chemical centralized enterprise in a 3.2-million-dollar-plus international goods sale and purchase contract dispute in the second instance of the Supreme People’s Court. The case is selected by the Supreme People’s Court as a Typical Case of “Belt and Road” and included in the Bulletin of the Supreme People’s Court.
- Represented a large state-owned asset management company in handling two financial loan contract disputes with a subject matter of more than 100 million RMB of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate’s protest and the Supreme People’s Court’s retrial. The case is the first civil and commercial case in which the chief leaders of the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate were present at the same time at the trial committee, and the lawyers were invited to present their opinions.
- Represented a listed real estate company in handling a joint venture real estate development contract dispute with a project value of over 10 billion RMB, which was successfully upheld in the trial by the Supreme People’s Court with a high risk of amendment of judgment, and made a breakthrough in obtaining more favorable factual determinations, laying a solid foundation for the handling of the subsequent related cases. The case is awarded the “Commercial Litigation Grand Prize” of the Biennial Awards by the SIGA Alliance of Law Firms.
- Represented a Nasdaq-listed education group in the second instance of the Supreme People’s Court in a cooperative school contract dispute with a subject matter of more than 200 million RMB, and won the case. The case is a typical case in which the Supreme People’s Court responded to the domestic investment of an overseas-listed enterprise with a VIE structure.
- Represented a large asset management company and a listed real estate company in a series of financial loan contract disputes with a value of over 10 billion RMB, which involved complex property execution and disposal work in many regions of China, and was a benchmark case of similar disputes in the industry.

Represented a petrochemical group company in a CIETAC arbitration case involving a dispute over oil and gas exploration cooperation with a petroleum and natural gas company, with a claim amount exceeding 300 million yuan. The case achieved a complete victory, with all the opposing party's claims being dismissed and the counterclaims being supported. The case involved a Sino-foreign joint venture for oil exploration with a cooperation period of over 20 years, which had undergone complex circumstances such as changes in national policies and adjustments to project construction. It served as a pioneering and exemplary case for resolving disputes between Chinese and foreign enterprises in similar projects.

Represented a large state-owned infrastructure company in a series of disputes with a municipal government over metro construction and operation cooperation agreements. The case involves over 7 billion yuan and encompasses complex issues related to infrastructure project settlements, cost reviews, and government audits.
