• Represented the Fujian Branch of an insurance company against the Fuzhou Branch of a commercial bank, in an arbitration case before CIETAC, involving a dispute over insurance claims assignment contract, and secured a complete victory that set a new precedent, with the other party returning approximately RMB 15 million of the insurance recovery amount and recovery costs to the client; and in the subsequent proceeding initiated by the other party to set aside the arbitration award, successfully obtained a ruling of dismissal of the application.
• Represented a securities company against several investors in an arbitration case before the Beijing Arbitration Commission involving fund contract disputes, and obtained a favorable outcome in which the arbitral tribunal rejected all of the other party's arbitration requests.
• Represented a trust company against a number of Evergrande-affiliated enterprises in a trust loan and guarantee contract dispute before the Beijing Arbitration Commission, achieving a favorable outcome in which the arbitration requests were largely upheld.

• Represented a fund management company against a fund company in a bond repurchase contract dispute valued at RMB 80 million before CIETAC, successfully preserving the other party's property valued at approximately RMB 62 million, and assisting the client in successfully resolving the dispute through mediation.
• Represented an asset management company against a real estate company before CIETAC in a dispute over the transfer and repurchase contract of equity gain rights and a mortgage contract and obtained a favorable ruling. Despite the lack of mortgage registration for the proposed mortgaged properties and construction-in-progress, we successfully assisted the client in securing the initial seizure, laying the groundwork for the subsequent enforcement of nearly RMB 600 million in adjudicated claims.

• Represented a Chinese state-owned coal power company against a private enterprise in an equity transfer dispute before the Beijing Arbitration Commission, involving complex issues concerning the supplementary payment of mining rights fees. Assisted the client, as the equity buyer, in filing a counterclaim seeking compensation from the equity seller for losses incurred due to the seller's failure to fully pay the prospecting rights fees, amounting to RMB 20 million. The claim was upheld and the opposing party's request for over RMB 30 million in interest on the outstanding equity transfer payment was successfully dismissed.
• Represented a subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd. against a partner company in the arbitration proceedings of a construction engineering contract dispute before CIETAC. The arbitral tribunal ruled in favor of our primary arbitration claims and dismissed all counterclaims filed by the opposing party.
• Represented a construction group under a central government-owned enterprise against a Hong Kong company in the arbitration proceedings of a construction engineering contract dispute over a Mozambique project before CIETAC, involving the settlement of overseas construction project payment and other complex issues, and successfully secured nearly RMB 200 million in project payments and other damages for the client.
• Represented a construction machinery group import-export company in winning an arbitration case involving international trade contract dispute with a Turkish company before CIETAC, and assisting the client in recovering losses of over US$12 million.
• Represented a central government-owned enterprise group in an oil contract dispute with a private enterprise before CIETAC.
